Land Rover Defender items

As a Land Rover Defender owner and a furniture maker I have combined the two a few times over the years, making replacement wooden trim pieces to replace tired plastic trim that has cracked and broken over the years. The first piece I made was a replacement trim for the middle of the dash board of my early TD5 defender. This was due to breaking the existing plastic panel whilst removing it in a hurry on the side of the road whilst removing a DIY installed stereo head unit that had caught fire by earthing against the 12v feed to a also DIY installed USB socket.

I’ve learnt to use heat shrink to insulate electrical connections since the fire and have also sent Landie Dash panels and switch panels to customers from all around the world.
